Frequently Asked Questions
Who Are We?
Tribe is a community of young people coming together to raise money and awareness for mental health in Ireland. Our mission is to de-stigmatise mental health, make it easier for people to talk about, and raise essential funds for those who are struggling. We want to form a community that represents the support and acceptance that is needed to overcome the stigma of mental health. We want people who are struggling to know that there is a community out there that is rooting for them, that is taking on challenges to inspire them, telling their own personal stories so they feel less afraid to talk about theirs, and raising money for services like Pieta House so they could take the small steps needed to start overcoming their mental health struggles. We want them to know they are part of a tribe that was there to support and help them, and that they are not alone.
Where Does Our Money Go?
Absolutely all money we raise - from selling our clothes to fundraising at events - goes directly to Pieta House for their efforts in suicide and self harm prevention.
